Cathedral Grove played by orchestra in NYC, February 11-12 2023!

Excited beyond words that the New Conductors Orchestra will play my orchestral work Cathedral Grove in NYC, February 11-12, 2023!

From the NCO’s website:

Our concert series, "The Mission: New Conductors, New Composers", reflects our goals of providing opportunities for emerging conducting talent and featuring the works of up-and-coming contemporary composers. In addition to works by John WIlliams and David Diamond, we will present New York premieres (and one U.S. premiere) of pieces by Peter Longworth, Katherine Saxon, Michael Rosin, Sam Wu and Daniel Godsil, selected from several hundred works submitted from around the world in response to our "call for scores." At the podium will be Dr. Iantheia Calhoun, Andrew A. Hill, Eric Juneau and Dr. Mark Powell.

Dissertation Composition published in SCI Journal of Music Scores, Volume 62-63

I'm so excited and honored that a movement of my dissertation composition (a string quartet written for the amazing @Spektral Quartet) will be published in the upcoming Society of Composers, Inc. Journal of Scores! This was also my first professional score I engraved with Dorico...not bad for a first go!!!

New Job: Teaching Music at Columbia College in California!

I'm excited to share that I accepted the position of full-time music faculty at Columbia College in Sonora, CA! I think it's a great fit for me, and we're ecstatic that we are staying in California...it will be especially great to be so close to Yosemite!
